If you cannot see the project after the page is fully loaded, please download the new version of the free MicroWorlds Web Player (plug-in).

Click the "multiply it" button below, then watch the grid change size and shape as you drag the m1 and m2 sliders to make new multiplication facts. M1 sets the number of rows (or groups). M2 sets the number of squares in each row (or group). (Think of 5 x 10 as "5 groups of 10.") The product slider will always show you the total. Click the "study it" button to freeze the action so that you can count the squares in the grid.
