To use this project, you need the free MicroWorlds Web Player, but you do not need to know anything about MicroWorlds. This project generates random money problems. Level 2 posts a mixture of word problems requiring making change (pictured) and some easier Level 1 problems (such as "Pay $1.73"). The "how.much.money?" button will reveal how much money has been moved into the light green area. The "check.answer" button launches a procedure to compare the amount of money in the light green area with the correct total. If they match, the money briefly throbs in a little dance.
