(5) Hearts There are 100 hearts in the basket. 50 more got added to the basket. Then 36 got taken out. After that 35 more got added. Then 6 got taken away. How many hearts are left? 

(6) Little Kids There were 100 kids at the day care. If each kid had two markers to draw with, how many markers did they use? 

(7) Cats There are 16 cats. Later, twice that number of cats joined them. But then 8 cats went away. How many cats are left? 

(8) Reading One day Katie's teacher asked her to read 1/4 of her book. There's 852 pages in the book. If she starts on page 1, what page is will she be on after reading 1/4 of the book? 

(9) Cats and Dogs I had 100 dogs and 100 cats. 60 dogs ran away. 10 came back. 80 cats ran away. How many cats and dogs do I have? 

(10) Eggy Day I had 99 eggs. 35 fell out. 20 of those were saved. I went and got 99 more. How many eggs do I have?
