* How can I make a picture if the blocks keep falling down?

That is the fun of OBBL! We hope you will explore and find clever ways to create your pictures. There are ways to catch some blocks before they fall all the way down. Please visit the OBBL Ideas page to get some ideas and to learn a lot of tricks.
____________

* Are there any blocks that don't fall straight down?

The thumbtack stays right where you place it.
It changes from this to this .
You can use thumbtacks to keep other blocks from falling. But please use thumbtacks as a last resort, if there is really no other way to support your blocks.

The bubble and the blue dot have special behaviors. Try them and see!

(See the next question to learn about some blocks that can be "glued" to other blocks.)
____________

* What blocks can be "glued" together to form beams or bridges?

You will see many examples on the OBBL Ideas page. If you click on a picture, you will get a page of hints helping you to create the picture. We would like you to explore! But briefly, these types of blocks have "glue" and can be connected to form long beams (or bridges) if you build them up high and let them fall down to touch the right kind of supporting blocks below:
 yellow horizontal blocks (supported by yellow quarter-circle arches)
 green wooden beam blocks (supported by matching end blocks)
 steel beam blocks (some of which can also be suspended from other steel beam blocks)
cat tails (supported by bodies and tail tips)

Also, cat heads can be glued to matching cat bodies ;
arch blocks can be glued together ;
and half-bricks can be glued to blocks of two half-bricks .
____________

* How can I remove blocks I don't want?

Click on the white square block, then click on any block you don't want.
____________

* How can I print a picture I've created?

The best way is to save a screenshot of the picture, paste it into a drawing program, crop it, save it as a GIF file, and print it.

On a PC, use the "PrtSc" button to save a screenshot.
On a Mac, press Command-Shift-3 (to save the screenshot as a PICT file to the hard drive) or Command-Shift-4 (for greater control over saving).
____________

* How can I erase the board and start a fresh picture?

If you don't have many blocks on the board, you can erase them one by one with the white square. But the easiest way to get a fresh board is to hit the magic wand (reset) button just below the white board.
